The organization of both male and female football competitions recently revived peace and the discovery of talents in both categories. This was much epitomized by a collective vision for an effective return to the classrooms come September 2022.

The competition went simultaneously in both communities of Babessi and in Babungo sanctioning the following results;

In Babungo male football, Finkwi United trounced Njisse FC 1-0 to lift the trophy and a cash prize of 350000fcfa while In the female category Finkwi again defeated Njisse Tigres by 2-0 to back home 200000fcfa.

Babessi on her part had Lens FC emerging winners after beating Assorted FC by 2-0 in the male showpiece with a cash prize of 300000fcfa.

It should be noted that the outing by Tifulia Kingsley Nsanyui culminated to the award of individual prizes as well as recognitions in other disciplines like handball which also animated the two villages. "My pious intension is to make everyone feel at home, shun deviant practices and play football which has Fair Play and Peace as core components". Tifulia Kingsley said while reiterating that the game of football should continue to unite and course talents to grow rather than bringing divide.

He equally recognized the prevailing situation in the two villages but enjoined the population in each village to send their children to school. "The future of our youth is not anywhere else than the classroom which is the birthstone of knowledge", he told everyone.

Tifulia Kingsley has promised to do more next summer holidays such that it keeps all and sundry especially youths of Babungo and Babessi busy and united to foster growth and development of their communities.
